Italian-meets-Hungarian pop-up Pasta 'n' Goulash will return once more to its spiritual home in CambridgeHeath, when it revives The Budapest Bar & Kitchen for a three-month residency.
The latest residency at Soho's The Sun & 13 Cantons has been announced as Oxalis, a travelling pop-up led by a pair of chefs called Max De Nahlik and Nick Ross.
The duo will be pooling their collective experience and international know-how to serve up a menu that's as much about seasonal British ingredients as it is about traditional French cooking methods, and includes a nod to Nick's Canadian
Islington restaurant and micro-brewery Borough Wine & Beers has been keeping busy this year with a series of excellent pop-ups. They're showing no sign of letting up for the time being too. Now they've announced that the next to join will be Oded Oren, an Israeli chef who's previously worked down south in the well-received Louie Louie.
A new six-month pop-up has just landed in London Fields as Tacu Tacu are back with their Latin American fare. You may know them from selling Mexican fish burgers on Brick Lane but now they've headed inside for the winter, taking over the spot that used to hold Rita's. There, they've tarted up the place to give it a summer feeling all winter long.
For the first week, it's been all about tacos along
Yes, you read that right - and you can see from the picture above - there's a bar in Paris where the bartenders serve drinks in their pants. While we're tempted to write something about "those crazy French" at this point, we should also point out that Le Calbar also gets rave reviews for the drinks too.
And now those drinks - and those pants - are coming to London where they're popping up for one
Anyone who’s been to the Netherlands will (hopefully) have already been exposed to one of their greatest exports: sprinkles for breakfast, also known as hagelslag.
Whether you’ve already a fan - and let's be honest, how could you not be - or you’re wondering what all the fuss is about, you’ll be able to get your fix of bread, butter and hagelslag at EasyJet's new Leicester Square pop-up,
We love a good kitchen takeover, and while we've already seen Chick N Sours take over Bubbledogs, now it's time for the next event as Sandia Chang takes over the Seven Dials Chick n Sours.
On that one-night-only menu will be wings in a fiery chipotle maple glaze, and Cap’n Crunch fried chicken strips (these sound GREAT) as well as grilled Mexican street corn slaw, jalapeño popper wontons
Dalston pop-up hotspot Birthdays has just announced its latest residency, following previous Birthdays residencies from Crouch Hill’s Max’s to Le
Online retailer Merchant Gourmet (where you can buy all manner of pulses and grains) are getting into the restaurant business with a pop-up space in Islington. It's working as a companion to their website so, as you might expect, those grains and pulses are heavily featured on the menu.
While it's a strongly vegetarian affair, it's not completely veggie either with a few meat dishes cropping up. And for
Here’s a very special one for lovers of everything from the good old USA. For three days, Londoners will be able to temporarily transport themselves to New Orleans's legendary Galatoire’s, an elegant-yet-raucous restaurant popping up in Mayfair.
The pop-up will be operating out of five-star hotel The Beaumont, setting up in Corbin & King’s Colony Grill Room (one of Hot Dinners' personal fave spots in town).
Ever dreamt of dining in a medieval East End church? Soon, you’ll be able to do just that when St Bartholomew-the-Great, a beautiful parish that’s been standing in Smithfield for over 800 years, temporarily hosts neighbouring restaurant Club Gascon.
The pop-up will be called Cloister by Club Gascon, and will run for the duration of the restaurant’s refurb. Until then, you'll be able to tuck
Tucked in under the arches at Cambridge Heath is a pop-up inspired by travels around regional China
While we still have to wait another FOUR months until The Last Jedi opens, that's not stopping them releasing all manner of Star Wars goodies from the film this Friday (aka Force Friday II). And while, yes, we may well have our eye on a BB-9E or two, it's the news of a pop-up cantina at John Lewis that's got us properly excited.
It's opening specifically for the midnight Force Friday event in the Oxford Street store
Off the Wall & Onto the Plate sounds a bit Willy Wonka-esque if you ask us, but that’s the name of a new ‘decor-inspired’ pop-up coming to Soho’s The House of Wallpaper. So yes. The menu is entirely inspired by wallpaper. All seven courses of it.
But what, exactly, constitutes food that is wallpaper-esque? Leave it to experimental chef Pedro Passinhas who’s managed to dream up
If you like a bit of an illicit vibe to your drinks, be it Bucks Fizz at breakfast or a secret speakeasy, now you can go the whole hog and literally drink in prison at Alcotraz, a new prison-themed cocktail bar popping up on Brick Lane - orange jumpsuit
