You may have been reading about White Lyan's revolutionary new 'wine' offering - the revolution being that they don't actually grapes to make it. Instead the team have been creating drinks based on taking the "flavour profile" of wine and deconstructing it, and then rebuilding it.

Now they're planning a five day pop up "wine bar". Lyan Cellars will run run for five days next week at Lantana Cafe in Shoreditch. And they've brought in Doug McMaster of Brighton

She's putting on a 5 course avocado inspired brunch menu, featuring avocado cocktails and a DJ for post brunch entertainment.

Things kick off with an avocado margarita before launching into the menu:

When EVERYONE you know is raving about a particular supperclub, and you haven't been, you know it's time to get in the loop. We had heard a lot about Tata Eatery. They're regulars at Druid St and also did a hugely successful rice tasting menu collaborating with Matt Chatfield from The Cornwall Project last year at the Newman Arms.

Well Meng and Ana - along with sake sommelier Elyse Li are heading back to the Newman Arms for a Saturday residency in March.

One of the chefs doing great things in Paris at the moment is Bertrand Grébaut whose places Septime and Clamato have turned the city's restaurant scene on its head over the past few years - Septime's currently no 57 in the World's 50 Best Restaurants List. The good news for anyone who hasn't the time (or funds) to travel all the way across to France to try his food is that Grébaut is heading to London for a two day residency at Lyle's in Shoreditch.
