"Chicken potato curry, with succulent herby sprigs on top (the menu says paddy leaves, the waiter says Vietnamese mint, we say nice), is an eminently spoonable, lightly creamy, mutilayered sauce with tiny, soft onions, chicken thigh and clean-edged wedges of perfectly cooked potato. It’s all we ever wanted from The House Of Ho and it’s gone too soon." READ REVIEW

"Best of what we try — but still a bit wan — is crab pomelo salad; Hanoi’s grilled five-spice quail; apple-smoked pork belly with egg; “Shaking Beef” (referring to wrist action with the skillet) made with tender fillet; smoky Morning Glory and lemongrass monkfish at the first dinner when it wasn’t grievously mugged by the caramel of the sauce." "House of Ho is a dim, sleek place, and its cocktails and lounge house music perhaps suggest it’s best suited to a night-time scene. But it’s not cheap... and for these prices, the dishes should be better." READ REVIEW
