A menu inspired by great kitchens across Europe has landed at Aster. The Nordic-French restaurant situated in Victoria’s new foodie hub, Nova Victoria, are introducing a new six course tasting menu, A Taste of Aster, in association with Laurent Perrier. Enjoy 30% of the food menu Monday – Friday evening’s for up to 6 people.

Created by Executive Chef Helena Puolakka, the menu takes guests on a journey through the significant kitchens she has worked in, taking inspiration from each. Helena, originally from the south-west coast of Finland, creates Nordic cuisine taken from her Finnish heritage complemented by classic French techniques refined over her career.

Dishes include scallop carpaccio with a sea buckthorn curd and lemon juniper dressing; roast Anjou pigeon with turnips, January king cabbage and a vin jaune sauce; var confit salmon with green apple, anchovy and crispy kale and spiced beetroot sponge with a chocolate ganache and smoked beetroot sorbet.
