Reopening today after a major makeover, just in time for London Fashion Week, is The May Fair Bar at the May Fair Hotel. The swanky new look bar will feature its own range of signature martinis, a new menu of small plates and a new brunch menu.
Hot Dinners got a sneak preview of the menu and bar in advance of today's opening. On the breakfast menu, along with all manner of juices and smoothies you'll find dishes like Omelette Arnold Bennett (£12) and The May Fair breakfast - scrambled eggs, toasted ciabatta with a choice of crispy pancetta or chorizo - (£12). Moving into brunch, the house Bloody Mary features cucumber infused Chopin Potato Vodka and Gin Mare and is available mild, medium or hot. Small brunch dishes range from Lobster tagliatelle in a chilli and tarragon bisque (£16) and cinnamon French toast with salted caramel ice cream (£8).
In the evening a new bar menu will be available from 5pm - featuring:
- Wagyu beef sliders with creamy spiced mayonnaise £16
- Vegetable kushiyaki skewers with green chilli emulsion £8
- Tandoori King prawns £10
