Sandia Chang's Chow Chow Chinese takeover of bubbledogs


Normally she's the one responsible for serving up the wonderful grower champagne at bubbledogs, but for a special one night event Sandia Chang is transforming the hot dog spot with a Chow Chow Chinese takeover.

Chang has come up with a 12 plate feasting menu of her favourite Chinese dishes, paired with a selection of grower Champagnes and sparkling wines. The blowout menu includes Taiwanese salt and pepper fried chicken wings, Potstickers, Scallion pancakes, Hunan green beans, crispy pork belly with soy caramel (pictured), beef shin finger sandwiches and Taiwanese fried pork chops with Chinese pickled mustard greens. Sounds marvellous, doesn't it?

To mark the event bubbledogs will get a temporary makeover for the night, complete with kitsch handmade paper lanterns.
