What: Kricket White City
In a nutshell: Indian small plates go west
Summing it all up: They may have finished in Brixton but the people behind Soho's Kricket are going west to White City with their latest Indian small plates restaurant.
Well, 2018's kicked off in style for West Londoners with news that Kricket are opening their second permanent restaurant there (which readers of our "rumours" section of our Coming Soon page will already be aware of).
The team that began in a shipping container at Pop Brixton, opened their first bricks and mortar restaurant in Soho at the beginning of 2017. But their new place at the White Cite development sounds like it will be massive. Serving up the usual modern, seasonal Indian dishes, the new space will cover a 3,600 square foot area in White City.
In practical terms that means there'll be seating for up to 140 and room for a cocktail bar and outdoor terrace. Oh, and they'll be taking reservations too. So if you're desperate for some samphire pakora, you can plan well in advance. For an idea of what to expect, check out our Test Drive of Kricket Soho.
Kricket is the latest big name signing for the West London site which is also going to become home to Homeslice, Patty & Bun, the Bluebird Café and a new Soho House.
