Expect some changes when you next head into Bonnie Gull in Exmouth Market. They've reworked the menu to be more of a small plates restaurant, changing the name to Bonnie Gull Seafood Bar in the process.
There will now be small plates and sharing plates including:
- Flame-grilled Newlyn cod collars
- Salt n’ Pepper Channel squid with jalapeno mayonnaise
- Flamed ox-heart with homemade piccalilli.
- ‘Jellied eels’ and pie, mash & liquor too.
They'll still have a few larger dishes like the ‘Smash your own’ 1Kg Dorset crab with flame-grilled brown meat as well as the beer battered North Sea haddock with beef dripping chips. And plenty from the raw bar is available too.
