Daniel Humm adds his EMP lobster boil to Davies and Brook's delivery menu

Having bounced back to life with the fried chicken box that everyone wants to try, now Claridge's restaurant Davies and Brook is expanding its delivery menu.

New this week is a Louisiana-inspired Lobster & Shrimp boil box which, they say, is "an evolution of a dish we premiered at Eleven Madison Park."

The original dish was devised by chef Daniel Humm for EMP's Hamptons pop-up back in 2017. Back then it took months to come up with the seasoning to sprinkle over the lobster, which included ground fennel, rice vinegar powder and three kinds of pepper.

"You can enjoy all the elements together in a fresh stew," they say "or get stuck in with your hands the Davies and Brook way and sip the bisque as you go."

The Lobster Boil 'to go' costs £90 for two and includes (in addition to the lobster) sides of green beans, corn and courgette, tomato and peach and house pickles along with Parker House rolls. There's also a chocolate and passion fruit cheesecake for dessert.
