23/7/19 - updated with pics of the pub
Sainsbury's is getting into the pop-up business - but they're doing it with a difference. For two days, they're taking over The Old Crown Public House in Holborn and turning it into a low/no alcohol pub. The maximum alcohol level you'll be able to reach in the pub will be 0.5 ABV.
Those drinks will include Celtic Soul, essentially a no-alcohol equivalent fo whisky, as well as beers, mocktails and low-alcohol wines. Tickets are a fiver, and that will get you two drinks and two bar snacks - but you'll be able to stay for more if you want. Bar food will include Corner Pop Crisps, Brave Roasted Peas and Serious Pig snacks.
And on top of that, they'll also be running masterclasses on low/no alcohol cocktail making, and beer tasting sessions too (those are £12 and includes access to the pub). So if you fancy a trip to the pub with a guarantee of no hangover, this may be worth a look
